2.       I will then email you back with payment instructions and the amount.

3.       When payment is complete the editing will be done for you.

Free sample edit
I will be delighted to do a free sample edit for you. Send an email with the document as an attachment to tonyheth@aol.com with the subject line "free sample edit request". This sample may be limited to 300 words but will show what my editing can do for your document. My aim is to complete samples within 2 days but obviously priority is given to paid work.
 

Payments
Payment must be made before work is returned to you and usually before it begins.

Errors
If there have been errors in the order (i.e. incorrect word counts) these may lead to an additional payment request before completion.

My solution to a serious problem facing website design companies and their clients
Whenever a new website is created there is a stumbling block – the content. Who creates it? How long does it take? I’ve known websites be delayed for over a year because of the issue of content.

A common situation is the web company doesn’t want to or can’t create it and the client is either too busy or doesn’t know where to start – resulting in a stalemate. A stalemate that is damaging to everyone involved and means that the project can’t be completed to everyone’s satisfaction.

I have found the answer.
I am a writer, editor and communications consultant with 25 years experience and have developed a quick and efficient method to help break this stalemate, create the necessary content that will help you complete the site and release the full payment.

How my solution works
I visit your client (UK only - either with or without you) and interview them about their company and what they want and need from their website. I also focus on their customers and the problems and frustrations that they solve for them. I gather any background material I can and details of their online competitors.

Armed with the information I can then create the content making sure that I capture your client’s passion and knowledge of their market so that the copy reflects that. I will then carry out two sets of corrections (if required) and submit the final copy to you.

For international clients the interviews will be carried out by phone.

I have worked with companies large and small from BAE Systems to one man operations and understand what a website needs to be successful. This includes addressing the five questions that all website customers ask from “can you solve my problem?” to “what’s next?” In my recent work I have dealt with companies as diverse as injection moulding, machine import agents, greeting cards and an interior designer.

I am realistic
I don’t charge an outlandish fee as I am interested in building long term relationships through which I could help you with your other clients. I charge per hour for the visit and the interview and then per page for the content – or to another agreed criteria.
